 Installed Components
All of Web Wiz Host web hosting plans are hosted on Windows 2003 servers with Microsoft's IIS6 web server and all the functions of ASP, and ASP.NET. The following components are
also installed on all of Web Wiz Host web servers: -
ASP.NET Framework Versions 3.5, 3.0, 2.0, 1.1
This is Microsoft's middleware for the Internet and replaces ASP. ASP.NET is built upon the .NET Framework. The Web Wiz Host servers have the ASP.NET Framework 3.5, 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1 installed. You can select which version you wish to use from your control panel.
Please note: ASP.NET 3.0 and 3.5 add extensions to ASP.NET 2.0, if you select ASP.NET 2.0 for your site it will also support ASP.NET 3.0 and 3.5.
Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX
ASP.NET AJAX is a free framework for quickly creating a new generation of more efficient, more interactive and highly-personalized Web experiences that work across all the most popular browsers. For more info visit the ASP.NET AJAX web site.
Microsoft CDOSYS
This Microsoft email component is more powerful and configurable than CDONTS which is being fazed out by Microsoft. This mail component allows you to send email from ASP and ASP.NET applications on your website.
Dimac w3 JMail Pro v4.5
w3 JMail Professional is a powerful fully featured SMTP and POP3 mail component that allows you to send and receive email from within ASP or ASP.NET code in a very simple way. For more information on how to use this component and some pre-built

Microsoft CDONTS
This is Microsoft's original email component from the NT4 day's that you can use to send email from forms on your website. CDONTS was replaced by Microsoft with the newer CDOSYS email component, which we would recommend that you use instead of CDONTS.
Persits AspUpload v3

Microsoft XML 6
The Microsoft XML Parser allows developers to easily describe and deliver rich, structured data from any application in a standard, consistent way.
ISAPI_Rewrite Full

PHP 5.1
PHP 5.1 is installed on the servers. PHP doesn't run well on Windows and is only installed because of it's popularity. If you have a web site that is predominately PHP we recommend that you look for a Unix based web host.
Installing Components
If a commercially available component you require is not installed on our servers then we can normally meet this requirement provided you reimburse or contribute to any licensing costs incurred and we feel that the component will benefit other users, please contact us for more information.
Components written by yourself cannot be installed on the server.
